Britain has been in lockdown for two weeks and it has been the grimmest of fortnights. The number of daily deaths from Covid-19 has continued to rise steadily and large chunks of the economy have been brought to a standstill.
I felt sick when I saw this tweet. Potato songs, now traffic light systems. Oh god, let me fucking die.
The lights are not as useful as the actions outlined at each tier. What is missing though is the thresholds. Without a vaccine this approach either assumes that the virus is fully contained or that a herd immunity is developed.
Sounds sensible . If people actually abide by it
