The Sun's Dan Wootton lands Drive Time slot on talkRADIO

The Sun's award-winning executive editor Dan Wootton will take over from Eamonn Holmes to host talkRADIO's Drive Time show.Dan will continue his role at The Sun while hosting the show

Dan said: “I’m so excited to take on an expanded role at News UK, and build on the excitement and energy I’ve enjoyed so much on my weekly show on talkRADIO."It’s an absolute privilege to be able to carry on the conversation at Drive Time, building on Eamonn’s amazing success.

Dan joined The Sun in 2013 before becoming Editor of the paper's showbiz Column Bizarre and then Executive Editor in March 2018.Wireless CEO Scott Taunton said: “Dan is a world-class journalist, and has broken some of the biggest exclusives of recent years.

He added: “Eamonn Holmes is a broadcasting legend. He’s been with us at talkRADIO since it launched and has played a huge part in the growth of the station.
