Oli Johnson, assistant head gardener at Mount Stewart near Newtownards in County Down, says: "The drought-like conditions we experienced in spring and early summer had an effect on some plants.

🤦‍♂️Are we to assume that deciduous trees have been reading all the right 'science' books? They need no calendars, not even money to buy them; just getting on with what they need to do. 🤷‍♂️ There's a lesson we could all learn from that!
