The popular 1960s Scottish baby names you don't hear often and their origins

The Daily Record has journeyed back to the 1960s to round up some of the most popular baby names of the decade in Scotland that you don't see so much these days.

While there are plenty of trendy names that pop up all of the time, often because of popular characters inshows and movies, a lot of amazing monikers have sadly been forgotten. However, this just makes them perfect for a comeback.features data on baby names in the country going all the way back to 1935. The Daily Record has decided to journey 60 years back in time to look at some of the names that were among the 100 most popular in Scotland during the 1960s but that haven't featured since.
