1 in 10 women suffer from endometriosis

The problem centres around a lack of awareness and understanding, explained Professor Andrew Horne, a gynaecological specialist at the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health in Edinburgh."Many women aren’t aware that severe pain with menstruation isn't normal and that patients shouldn't have to suffer with this," he said.
