Make the most of the last few days of May half term with a day out to the region’s newest watersports and aqua park. Wild Shore Blackpool officially opened earlier this week and is based at the former Blackpool Wake park.
Visitors can compete against each other on the Aqua park, a giant floating playground with Ninja Warrior-style features and obstacles and epic slides. It promises to “provide the perfect challenge of balance and nerve for a range of ages and abilities”. Aqua park sessions can be booked individually, or as family or group trips, with the option to hire it for birthday parties.
Other highlights include the Ringo rides, where you can take it in turns riding it up and down the lake on massive inflatables. It’s an adrenaline-fuelled experience where you can feel every bump and splash along the way.
