Of course, you’d be forgiven for not wanting to leave the hotel at all. It boasts 10 suites and 25 rooms, most of which have either a jacuzzi, or a private plunge pool. We spent the early evenings, as the sun set, relaxing by our own pool in hanging chairs, drinking glasses of chilled wine. The interiors create a special feeling of barefoot, bohemian luxury. The white-washed walls, fold-out shutters and crisp bed linen feel airy, but cosy.
And, if by chance, you fancy a change of scenery, Kenshō’s sister hotel at Psarou, a 10 minute drive along the coast, offers a fun change of pace. The ocean-side resort has an upscale party atmosphere with vibey music from a DJ set playing as you kick back on the hotel’s private beach or cool-off in the Aegean sea. Fresh sushi platters are served all day and the cocktail menu is next-level with classics like almond negronis or refreshers like yuzu sours.
