Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson star as con artists in this dismal remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

The perfect antidote to the usual Christmas slush-fest, Bad Santa has an outrageously profane and debauched Billy Bob Thornton using his seasonal job as a shopping mall Santa Claus to rob the mall’s stores. A needy child latches on to him, thawing the misanthropic alcoholic only slightly, but Zwigoff makes no compromises, and leaves no yuletide convention unscathed.

Not every movie led by women needs to be a Feminist Manifesto :) also, assuming the movie is rubbish (idk I haven’t watched it), there are plenty crappy slapstick comedies out there, usually led by males, which lead to criticism of the movie without any mention of gender.

Someone asked why feminists dislike Margaret Thatcher - the responses were brutalBritish politics is pretty polarising these days, but it’s easy to forget that divisiveness is certainly nothing new. There’s no better example of this than Margaret Thatcher, who, despite no longer I don't consider myself a feminist but I could not stand Margaret Thatcher. I will always remember her as a heartless woman who oppressed the poor. The best PM this country has ever had. The responses where absolutely shite with no content from thick people so it’s no surprise your failure of a news outlet ran with tbh

The Darksome Bounds of a Failing World by Gareth Russell – reviewThe Titanic as a metaphor that has rattled down the ages ... does this book work as a morality tale about the collapse of a slipshod civilisation? While the author stresses that the Titanic is frequent fodder, apparently not to Ms. Hughes herself, as the ship didn't capsize! The Titanic's demise was a terrifying warning of what would happen to our civilization in 1914. And yes, Western hubris caused both disasters.
