The House of Commons Library has unearthed a startling statistic: the current parliamentary session is the longest since the English Civil War. It is also unusual in having lasted over three different calendar years, coming into existence after the June 2017 general election. As of yesterday it has run for 300 days.
I think the right wing press had quite a lot to do with that by making the EU the demon of all society's ills?
