The cast have already filmed their final scenes but while we’ll have to wait until May 16 to find out how the story ends for our heroes, ‘I’m thrilled with [Penny’s] ending, yet beginning,’ she told Entertainment Tonight, hinting at a fresh start for the pharmaceutical rep.‘There’s not anything catastrophic, it’s just beautiful,’ Kaley added. ‘And the characters are gonna live on in your minds and in your hearts, and I think that’s what is so special about it. It’s really touching.’
She continued: ‘This has been a stress for months [for] us actors, and the writers, “How’s this gonna end?’ This is my legacy of this character”.’ And the cast are ensuring they go out with a bang, after TBBT made history by being the first TV show in 92 years
