Books can be a useful tool in helping little one's understand and share their feelings

How to teach a child about emotions

As a parent, you are responsible for your child’s wellbeing. That can feel like a lot of pressure. No one wants to deal with a toddler meltdown.. But parents need to instil positive well-being in children from an early age. So that they can grow confidently and feel secure. Here are our top tips for talking to children about emotions:

Have open and honest conversations. Try to get your child to describe how they are feeling and listen to their answers without anger or judgement. Share appropriate stories of your own experiences. Help them understand by giving examples of a time you felt this way. Teach your child the different types of emotions by name – so that they are easier to recognise next time they pop up.The Best wellbeing books for kids:

These titles can help you get back on track. 'There is no friend like a book.' - Louisa May Alcott bookstagram Ive not read much at all since 2016 after I wrote my theory of the universe (a bunch of physics and theoretical physics books to see where scientists were wrong - much like at the time of Copernicus) Thanks, I love a good book. I love the one's about politics that are non-fiction the most. I don't want to forget that Trump & the MAGA GOP instigated an insurrection/coup to overturn a free & honest election. I don't want anyone to forget we can't replace democracy with fascism.
