A hotel in Thailand has agreed to drop charges against an American guest who faced up to five years in jail for posting negative reviews – as long as he issues a public apology for his comments.

What 😲

The last sentence, 'truth cannot automatically be relied on as a defence'. This was a very interesting line, which required explanation and yet the journalist tagged it on to the end of the article and left me searching online. Not great journalism.
