Transport officers have stopped thousands of people from getting on London buses without a face covering officers stopped more than 3,000 people from getting on buses last weekend until they put on a face covering.when a number of people were seen without face masks, or anything to cover their nose and mouth.laws on June 15 and have been worn by the vast majority of public transport users.
‘Officers have the powers to issue fines with the possibility of prosecution if people don’t wear face coverings and they will use them, if necessary. Photographer David Nathan has been using buses regularly since the mandatory face covering policy was brought in.
We need more enforcement. Too many people are simply ignoring the order.

And thousands more made it onto public transport. Around my part of London, few people properly wear a mask (i.e. so that their mouth and nose are covered) or wear a mask at all.
Wear a mask then. Simples 🙄
People need to be fined. If they are not carrying a note from their GP then they should be wearing a mask. Why are they any different from the rest of us? Even with special dispensation, those people can still spread the desease!
When used bus u do see people without face mask, potentially tricky for drivers until masks are common on streets or mandatory as in other countries
It doesn’t look like l have been on busses in London anf the first not to wear a mask is the driver.

Rubbish. More than half the bus I get on each morning people do not have masks on and there is always well over 30 people on the bus packed all the time

There are people who are exempt from wearing face coverings though
