Two men burst into the Chelsea antiques shop wielding hammers *Warning: this article contains graphic pictures and descriptions of violence CCTV footage has captured the harrowing moment two men smashed a TV antiques dealer in the head before robbing thousands of pounds worth of jewellery. Ian Towning, 76, who appeared as a guest expert on Dickinson’s Real Deal on ITV and Channel 4’s Posh Pawn, said he was ‘lucky to be alive’ after the vicious attack.

Towning, Barrett, and Simmons were all taken to hospital after the raid and received treatment for their injuries which were non-life threatening, the Met Police said. Speaking to the MailOnline after the horrifying attack from his home in Surrey, Towning said: ‘I was lucky, my injuries could have been much worse, though I am still in a lot of pain.
