I want the alcohol I drink to come from a pure source. And so vodka is the drink for me. But I like the taste of beer. So non-alcoholic beer is a great compromise.

I drink it: I just wish it was a bit better. Heineken make a very good one, as do Estrella and Peroni... but then it’s a pretty long drop in quality. And Becks Blue tastes like pee.
Pretty much already said but:- 1. Sparkling water is too boring in the evening but other soft drinks are too sweet 2. It tastes good (Heineken in particular) 3. It costs much less 4. It’s healthier 5. Cans are smaller meaning I don’t wake up needing a wee as much.

I could give you a number of reasons why I don't drink it.
I prefer the taste (alcohol is disgusting). And I like to keep a clear mind at all times, and I prefer to have my car so i can leave when i want and not have to stand in a taxi queue in all weathers.

AF beers have really improved lately. Brewdog Nanny State, Infinite Session IPA, San Miguel, Erdinger etc are great and no alcohol to mess me up the next day.

Budweiser Prohibition brew is not entirely horrible, so if I'm driving, and everyone else is drinking, that's what I drink. Alcohol free beer has come a long way over the years. I remember drinking Calibre in the 80s, and thinking it tasted like fish.

We have Becks blue in at home. I don't drink and hubby likes a beer. This stuff tastes just like the real thing and he finds it refreshing without the affect of the alcohol.

It's interesting that you can be challenged for age re: alcohol free beer, but in the same transaction purchase mouth wash - almost pure ethanol - without a problem ! Very acceptable beers now, but the wine...not so good !?! JW. p.s. keep alcohol for special occasions !
