The UK’s 2020 Eurovision song contest entry has been unveiled today. John Newman’s My Last Breath was given 2 stars by The Guardian but we’re interested in hearing what you think.
Try and not think about it. Are we still in - thought we had left Europe?
What’s the point.
Couldn't care less
If we're no longer in Europe isnt that yet another reason for the lamentable bbc to stop lavishing vast amounts of our licence fee money on it?
90s powerpop, awful vocal, dreadful hackneyed lyrics and muzac melody. If we weren't the UK we'd win.
Listened to it this morning and have forgotten it already, disappointed it's so bland from someone so talented. Could still work well with good staging, will need a big gimmick to be remembered on the night.
It's ok, he has a good voice. But the song, is not catchy or camp enough to have any success in Eurovision The lyrics are a bit odd too, 'if we were diving, no one to save us and you were out of air I would give you my last breath.'
They should have picked Divinadecampo BluHydrangea_ ChipShopBird FrockDestroyers This is boring we have BrexitReality this will get NulPoints
No.
It'll most likely get cancelled.
I don't like to be negative and cynical when he obviously has way more talent and ability than I, but that's not for me. It's perfectly fine and he has a nice sound to his voice, but I agree that the song itself is forgettable.
Haven’t heard it don’t want to hear it and quite frankly won’t listen to it!
Why UK has entered Eurovision?
