Analysts have warned that transport groups, hospitality chains, and luxury goods makers and retailers will be among those hardest hit by the coronavirus.

The virus hasn't affected a single business. The government's gross abuse of public office is what has caused the harm.

As one of the 3 million excluded and a business owner I'd actually like Sunak and the Tory regime to give back the billions looted from the treasury under the contracts for mates scandal. That VIP channel for the 'connected' hasn't helped me

Will you be firing Roy Greenslade?

Just ask the government they are the ones that put small business into this predicament

Why was Trump banned?

Coronavirus: very little. Policies and legislation: lots.

The government not the virus chose to close small businesses. For instance why are bookshops forced to close but supermarkets can sell books?

Seems more about industry than size.

The owners of small businesses can’t wait to vote Tory in 2024 judging by the polls.

What do you think?

Be careful folks the Plague Paper is looking for negative stories again!

Braindead

Closed them.

Have a guess...

Don't worry about them. Lockdowns work that's all we need to know.

Why was Trump banned?

PureHRLtd

You tell us

I have no sympathy for businesses built on crime or organised crime. I feel genuinely sorry for the honest businesses that have suffered. I am sure there are many that fall into this bracket

Er...they allclosed as was the governments plan all along

Coronavirus not at all. Lockdown has more or less ruined them.

The globalist with help from the MSM and the toxic . have decimated local business'.

Boris the clown destroyed them

Is this a retarded question?

I fuck up hundreds of thousands of them.

I think the photo speaks for itself!

The virus itself has done no harm to business. The massive over reaction to it on the other hand.

Well, I used to have a market stall - 'down the marrrket' and now all me veg has gone hoof.

Jesus H! If you got outside of the M25, it would be blatantly apparent!

Be careful folks the Plague Paper is looking for negative stories again!

No one buys my lemonade anymore.

You’re supposedly the beacon of journalism you tell us

The pain and uncertainty of the impact of the coronavirus on small business owners is staggering and likely to be substantial.

I miss my Nando’s! 🐔

Small business are running out of money in the UK.

Brexit and Chinese corona become two brothers of UK .

I run a small self catering business in rural Scotland. We have of course had forced closures and many cancellations when allowed to be open. Not one penny of support from government as we fall outside eligibility criteria. I’ve had to cash in savings to pay my overheads.

It was ok until January the help and support was enough to see us through along with strong sales in the summer but now we are in lockdown and there’s no additonal help we could do with another bounce back style loan I don’t need handouts just to get through lockdown

Not Covid - failed Govmnt policy

We are a florist studio in west London specialising in wedding and funeral flowers. At the start of lockdown we were devastated to see all our booked weddings being postponed, but we were very quickly inundated with funeral work.

Boris Johnson’s friends did rather well during quarantine

Am I crazy or do you normally tell us stuff?

any still alive?

see when some what 250.000 of the SmallBusinesses you talk of have ceased trading with a Conservatives RishiSunak who only cares of funding his own rich family and tory donors from public accounts than the businesses & taxpaters who be left the bill

It was not just in the U.K. The whole world has been affected by this virus, specially countries which don't have a solid economical background!

It's killing them one by one..

Coronavirus didn't. Lockdown did.

COVID-19 hasn't. The measures used to tackle it have affected small businesses.

It’s not like they’d survived much longer , everything is online nowadays .... Covid just hurried it along a tad quicker

Yes, Guardian editor pls tell us How Chinese lockdown the city to tackle the covid violates Human Right, while France is too late ❓

How do you think?

I was supposed to be a business owner and the Rona well & truly F’d me in the bum hole

Um I can save you the time...badly

They went bust.

Wasn’t Coronavirus - we had 4 others before the latest one arrived. It’s Government policy that had closed businesses fed by the MSM support for the CultOfCovid

Some ridiculous peasants, probably racists who think women are different from men in some negative way and Britain or England are relevant, real things, or that their work or homelands are something more than oppressive structures, foam ignorantly. Please gods silence them!

It’s all fixed now with Boris’ magnificent deal!

You must ask also for the Brexit what the people really think

It hasn't. Brexhit did that all on its own! At least the Sumvrentea is BACK baby!🇨🇰✊🇨🇰✊🇨🇰✊🇨🇰✊🇨🇰🇨🇰✊🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰✊🇨🇰✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰🇨🇰✊✊✊🇨🇰✊🇨🇰✊🇨🇰

If you already have a study, I can only assume you want as many small businesses to blame the gov for spreading it. !!!

Journalism is getting easier and easier.

Please retweet and/ or donate what you can, I’m trying to help my mother with her medical bills and get her a new apartment. Thank you. boost gofundme gofundme

The Media driven lockdown has destroyed them. Simple

I don't know how to say this but there you have your public services, that you pay for, telling YOU what to do and how much you can spend, and with Christmas coming up they want you to shop early... 😁

Just back from a mini break in Cornwall, normally I would be in and out of shops buying all the usual souvenirs and bits and pieces, this year I didn’t go into one....after following all the ridiculous rules and one way systems it just didn’t feel worth it 😢

Decimated it.

affect/effect usage error, y’all

Terribly!

Badly?

Lockdown is becoming the norm! small business will be counting the weeks they can trade.

It hasn't. Lockdowns have.

Tell ya what. When l start seeing all protesters wearing masks l will wear one. Only time l put one on is when l go inside a store. No different then what the President does. And the virus is being spread by protesters. To hell with what D- Scientist say.

It keeps people from being able to work due to ridiculous government rules - therefore they don’t have (at least as much) of their pay packets or earnings & therefore cannot go and spend said wage on other small businesses. Multiplied by who knows how many times throughout nation

I never wear a mask, I do not believe in them. They are fake medicine. The only exception is when I go into shops or crowded places, or when I can’t keep away from all the people. They are worst than shops, so far no shops had covid, the people though, they had loads of it.

Wait til the winter really sets in and nobody wants to do al-fresco anymore.

Coronavirus has not affected small businesses in the UK. The Lockdown has.

I would imagine they've all been shafted and this horrendous govt are trying give us round 2 of lockdown

Adversely

I sold a line of erotic gerbil clothing but covid19 has meant I had to close my shop as it was too dangerous.

Actually my business has done very well. I rented a small shop and sell PPE equipment. I’m raking it in and the online sales are good too. The company is registered in Ireland so no taxes as well.

I wanted to run a small business and now after corona Virus I do not feel like running a small business.

Covid has been bad for business the media has been the real killer however.

Coronavirus? Don't you mean Covid? Funny we seem to be back talking about a group of viruses rather than Covid. Same with govt. Which is it?

Dom don’t care “daddy will raid government pot” as he continues to play criminal gangs to be mister popular. Now no one wants to know him because of what he has done sod give him a chance. Get it Dom daddy.

Coronavirus is entirely indifferent to businesses and has done nothing to them. Lockdowns meanwhile..

The government closed them.

Saw what was going on last year. Reason why I sold off properties. When I did. NIS Nothing Is Secure Backdoors in everything. even inside the DoJ

Scamdemic. Stop reading these shit rag govt propaganda mouthpieces. Refuse the vaccine!

Why don’t you just get out of London and walk down any High Street. You’ll see the answer.

I invested my own money to set up a Small Ltd Company. Year on year growth and now 9 employees. Not massive, but produces tax revenue nonetheless. My wife and I, as directors are now getting no support, unlike the employed and self-employed. We have 2 dependant children.

Micro ltd co director with a one year old, only work part time so used dividends to top up as wasn't sure how much I'd earn part time after mat leave, only earn 12k I don't need much but £575 is nowhere near enough, I was scraping by as it was. No idea what I'm going to do

We are both owner Directors of small Ltd Co. No support like the self employed, no £10k grant as trade from home premises. Stuck in the middle £0support,living off overdraft and family handouts now. How does RishiSunak CommonsTreasury expect us to survive? forgottenLTD

If UK has problems, Argentina is over.

The hard question is: What happens to big companies? Corporations will grow stronger and greedy, and giant corporations will replace companies that were weak. And so the whole world belongs to some giant corporation. Please join the channel.

The problem is, all over the world, it's the middle class now and the poor. The middle class will be affected significantly, I think the middle class, it has over 70% impact. Because of this virus. But the poor class, nothing changes on it, but poverty, it gets worse.

Unfortunately, the corona virus came for the poor and small power or middle، In any case, the economy of giant, big, fixed companies will not be affected by this blow.، Please join the channel.

I’m a small ltd company director. Successful business pre covid. We have stopped trading. I have £0 revenue. Can’t access loans. No fair support from RishiSunak. Trying to save business but if I furlough I can’t work. Dividend income is excluded. We won’t survive forgottenltd

I think it’s unlikely that my business will survive it. Nothing coming in and still bills to pay. I’ve been in business 10 years.

The big challenge for many businesses will be getting the wheels turning again once life returns to normal. You cannot expect them to come out of hibernation and be as they were instantly, they will be starting from scratch again. In effect, there will be millions of start ups

Stopped all their revenue. Duh 🙄

It’s a secret. 🤭

Small biz on avg have 27days cash. Some 1-2wks, some 5wks So in 3 wks we’ll see the fallout in hard data: bankruptcies, loan defaults, unpaid rent/utilities, unemployment etc Even with grants + loans from 10DowningStreet that hit accounts in June, Owners can make ends meet

msm and londinium worked together to destroy millions of business's via corona hoax to coverup vast financial crash.

Nothing that Brexit didn’t do. The UK is doomed because the racists won.

Perfect for gentrification, now there can be 3 Starbucks & McDonald’s every street corner and we can say goodbye to local small businesses.

f***ed it. Next question please?

It’s lovely. We are furloughed, having time with our families and now realise 24 hour opening isn’t necessary! Hurrah!

Killer! Kills everything. WHO

Where are all the people who were worried about 'overpopulation'? If it's a global pandemic (big if), they have a solution to their concerns. Mind you, if it endangers them & their families, suddenly they're not panicking about 'overpopulation' any more...

We are so screwed
