Britons are being urged to take care while swimming in beauty spots after a teenager died on the UK’s hottest day of the year.
Rescue teams attempted to resuscitate the teenager but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency services said 14 people from three crews were involved in the ‘frantic’ two-and-a-half-hour mission. Grassington Fire Station wrote on Facebook that the death was a reminder of the dangers of swimming in moving water.Britons are being urged to take care in the water amid the hot weather
