Teen mother, 19, bursts into tears as she is jailed for nine years

Verphy Kudi's daughter Asiah Kudi died at home in Brighton in December 2019. Mother seen on CCTV leaving flat on her birthday and returning six days later. Kudi broke down as she was jailed for nine years and taken away by court staff.

Well done, although 9 years are not enough

Expecting teenagers should be counseled heavily and repeatedly on responsibilities of being a parent. That might discourage immature people from having a baby, and then neglecting it. Abort, or give them to loving foster parents. Its full time job being parent, not for all teens

That poor little baby. She suffered not only immeasurable physical pain and suffering but also terrible mental pain in those 6 days . She would have been crying out for her mummy, who never came to her. Makes my heart break just thinking of it.

It seems to me that she twerked her way to motherhood. The poor beautiful baby , didn't any one hear her crying when her careless selfish wicked mother was absent ....What on earth is a supported housing block?
