A teenager says he feared he would lose his sight after an arrow got stuck into his eye at an archery class in Nottinghamshire. James Leung, who was 15 at the time, was rushed to hospital after the incident while on holiday in Sherwood Forest three years ago.
"James was on his knees on the floor holding his eye," the 47-year-old recalled. "He just kept asking me if he was going to be blind in that eye. There was blood coming out between his fingers and from his nose, there was blood all down his coat.
Sara added: “James has autism and can be black and white thinking so if you ask him to do something he will usually do it by the letter." The projectile went into his eye and broke one of the ocular bones just above the eyelash band.
