A female teacher broke down in tears after being found guilty of kissing and dancing flirtatiously with a 17-year-old pupil at a nightclub.

She said: "I realised that my conduct had fallen short, I don't drink alcohol anymore, perhaps if I hadn't been drinking alcohol that night I wouldn't be in the situation we are in."Behaviour of this nature will never be repeated, I hope you will see that my conduct at the time was in stark contrast to my typical character. The risk of repetition is non-existent.

However, McConnell refused to accept that the pupil may have been left with long-lasting emotional damage following events at the nightclub. Speaking of the toll of the incident on her, McConnell explained: "It has already affected me, I have not been able to teach for the last four years.

Dancing flirtatiously and a kiss, ooh, no law broken, generally night clubs are for over 18s so not a massive leap for her to assume he was over 18. Get a grip

Poor lad, taken 2 weeks to wipe the smile off his face.

How's this different from Andrew? She was 17 too & trafficked, no less. He's not been found guilty of anything. Trash, from start to finish.

The poor sweet lamb, suffering from long-lasting emotional damage, because he could not free himself from the wicked teacher, who probably made him go against his will to a nightclub at 17.

I thought the legal age was sixteen so what has she done wrong
