More than 150,000 Swifties are expected to head to the stadium and the surrounding areas to catch a bit of the Taylor Swift Eras Tour action. Official merchandise goes on sale from today and it's believed that fans will queue to get access to the stalls.
Ahead of the concerts themselves, on every night from Thursday, June 13 to Saturday, June 15, fans will also queue up to get a good spot at the front of the stage. In other cities hosting The Eras Tour, including Edinburgh, Swifties waited in line up for more than six hours.READ MORE: Taylor Swift fans 'work out' Anfield surprise announcements for special 100th show of Eras tour
Fans without tickets are advised not to head to the stadium or the surrounding areas and there is strictly no camping permitted at the stadium or in the immediate vicinity, including local parks. Speaking about the nearby Stanley Park, Chief Superintendent Zoe Thornton said: "It is is a public park. People can go to it. And we encourage people, to go to parks. That's absolutely right.
"There are bylaws in place, though, not to camp. So our plea really to people is not to envisage camping. It's not the right place to camp. If we need to enforce the bylaws that will take place with the local authority. People can go, they can go and listen, but no overnight camping."
