Taron Egerton Has Been in Talks With Kevin Feige to Play Wolverine in the MCUEver since it was announced that Marvel Studios had gained the rights to the characters from the X-Men comics, speculation has been rife as to which mutants will be appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with one name coming up again and again: Wolverine.

While the character of Wolverine, aka Logan, has been a staple of Marvel Comics since the 1970s, he became entrenched in wider popular culture in the early 2000s thanks to Hugh Jackman's portrayal in. Jackman would go on to play Wolverine a total of nine times in the 20th Century Fox movies, with his character's story forming the backbone of the first trilogy and leading to no fewer than three solo spinoffs.
