Switzerland's president is throwing herself a birthday party for her 60th - and wants those who share the same birth date to come along.
Simonetta Sommaruga will hold the bash in the country's capital of Bern on 14 May - her big day - a government statement said. It added that any Swiss citizens who are also celebrating their 60th on the same day"are cordially invited to a little party".The 59-year-old later shared some official invitations on social media, which included a picture of her as a young girl."I invite you to celebrate this birthday together on this day!"
Those eligible for a place are then directed to a registration form on the Swiss government website, where they are asked to provide some details and a picture of their passport.
