Young people from poorer backgrounds in London are given so much more opportunities than poorer young people outside London. Ex. 51 kids from one school with mostly deprived kids have been offered places at Oxford uni. 41 last year. That does not happen in a ‘not deprived’ area!

As a Londoner who rose up from a poor background and well travelled, I’d say they are better off seeking opportunities in other UK cities that frankly have a better standard and quality of life now. Many big companies have offices across the UK with decent pay vs living expenses
