Chancellor Rishi Sunak to pump in billions of pounds to prevent 'jobpocalypse'

RISHI Sunak will put young people at the heart of his pandemic recovery plan — with dramatic action to keep them in work.

A source close to Mr Sunak said: “The Chancellor’s focus is on protecting and creating jobs and supporting people back into employment, particularly the young. The Chancellor will this week unveil plans to pump tens of billions of pounds more into supporting the economy. Not far behind are children who have been scandalously betrayed by militant teacher unions blocking the re-opening of schools.

Naw he’s no

Husbands firm been looking for an apprentice for years to learn his job but it’s 48hrs per week, not well paid, takes a lot of skill & hard work but it looks glamorous on paper they’re off the minute they see the work involved, don’t want to learn

Once a company is bust, and lost its customers, all the money given to staff won't resurrect that company. Lot of these companies were in deep trouble before this,no point trying to keep them afloat.

Yes and all Labour wants is people and Schools stay at home and wreck our economy then BLAME the Gov they are usless no plan no new polices

Excellent. The magic money tree is still growing.

To bloody late

Boycott this Tory rag. It’s basically a mouthpiece for the Cummings PR machine.

Ready for it be ridiculed

John Rentoul: Pity poor Rishi Sunak for being charged with delivering Boris Johnson’s slogan ‘build back greener’The behaviour changes required by coronavirus and those needed for the climate emergency seem similar, but the analogy is flawed You dance with the devil, you don't decide the tunes. His choice to serve, save the sob story. 'Pity' is so dramatic and out of touch. So he has a shitty job with guaranteed money for the next like 4 years whilst most of us peasants have to sweat about buying groceries. I feel more sorry for the fact that he has to live next door to him!
