Sunak orders investigation into leak revealing wife’s non-dom status

Rishi Sunak has ordered a leak inquiry into who revealed details ofAn investigation by the Treasury and Cabinet Office is under way after details of Akshata Murty’s tax details were leaked to the Independent. Her status as non-domiciled has allowed her to legally avoid about £20m of UK taxes on dividends from the Indian IT company founded by her billionaire father on the understanding that her long-term permanent domicile is in India.

Well - investigation should be taken outside sources as you been a husband and having personal relationship with her would be a matter of facts raised as conflict of interests & biased .It should be other sources who can investigate , sorry not you “Rishi Sunak” SP
