Good cheap labour...Fill yer boots.

Temporary typical. What happened to the good old fashioned apprenticeship schemes at least we had trained people that followed a good well proven system now we have ?

Is he going to send them all fruit and veg picking?

It is certainly reminiscent of the 80s YTS scheme which was abused and left a generation in the wilderness. Let's not hope for a repeat of that. Any job creation atm is good news.

Jobs to be created include - High Street Motivators, Poly Tunnel Executives, Golden Arches Food Replenishment Operatives, Fruit Removal Logistics Clerks, Tiktok Exterminators, Furloughed To Field Ploughed Scheme Coordinators, Club Covid19-25 Reps, Warehouse Enthusiasm Squads.

Back to the eighties, yts was no different than national service.

RishiSunak Does this mean you'll give me a grand for builders tools? Thx boo

Will it be fruit & veg picking?

Temporary jobs like the governments! The under 25's can't do a worse job than the evil spawn.

The return of YTS! How enlightened!

Please be good 🙏 We’re fed up, we’ve been repeatedly let down... come on RishiSunak - We need a win! 😫 Please make it useful so at least young people can feel some hope with Bexit looming 🤦‍♀️

Customs officers. Gonna needs lots of 'em. And the won't be temporary either.

Will probably pay them £35 per week to pick fruit and veg as a job creation scheme... this has the whiff of YTS about it.

Vegetable picking?

Anyone know if this will be a UK wide policy? Would be great to link this into the rehousing of young people and local jobs in Wales. Hugh_EYHC

Is it fruit picking?

temp for temps sake

Why do adults 25+ get fucked over all the time
