'Sturgeon has used Covid-19 to score political points' - Telegraph readers on Scotland's pandemic response

As Scotland continues to diverge from England on a number of its coronavirus polices, Nicola Sturgeon's failure to rule out imposing restrictions at the border has only further highlighted the contrast in Scotland's plans compared to those drawn up in Westminster.

Sturgeon is in a country with lower infection than England and wants to stop spread of killer virus. If this is scoring political points you clearly buy into Cumbo feeling that lives are political capital to be expended to adhere to your right wing doctrine

NicolaSturgeon is using people’s deaths for independence and political agendas, that is disgraceful, this woman is dangerous and the sooner she gets away from public life the better. She has used propaganda and lies to try and gets Scotland away from the U.K. the U.K. is strong.

Scotland is a country in its own right and has a right to Govern itself it it so wishes

Britain is the land mass. I presume you mean 'with the rest of the UK' unless for some reason you wish to exclude Northern Ireland. Geography for beginners: NI is not part of either Britain or Great Britain.

I seriously doubt most English people would even notice if the border was actually closed.. after all our only purpose is to pour money into Scottish coffers.. Sturgeon give your citizens LLBT.. what no? Yeah that’s right you only give away what isn’t yours .. 🤨🤨🤨

It means hope that they might get independance & English taxpayers money will no longer be used to subsidise their spending habits

Hopefully they’ll get better.
