Stump Cross Caverns has been open to the public since the 19th century and was bought by Lisa Bowerman in 2003. For years the cave attraction became a huge success with Yorkshire locals and visitors alike. However, following financial struggles resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic and cost of living crisis, Ms Bowerman almost lost all hope until she spotted an advert on Facebook for The Hotel Inspector .
