Student sues uni because he didn't get the grade he felt he deserved

A student is seeking £200,000 in damages from his university because he failed to get the marks that he wanted.

Umer, who came to the UK to study from Islamabad, Pakistan, received a pass – the equivalent of a third class degree. In 2014 his second year modules had to be deferred until the next year after he said he ‘suffered a fall’.As a result, he failed to get enough credits for an honours degree and had reached the maximum registration period for his course.He appealed the marks he was given, but after the case was thrown out he said: ‘I’m going to fight this even if I have to take it higher, even to the UN. I’m very, very keen that I take it as high as I can.

Really!!? The judge should order that you are deported for the nerve of trying to scam the country. You didn’t study and you had no interest in studying. You were just playing the student visa system, just like you are now playing the legal system and it’s as simple as that.

I got a 3rd and deserved it, constant procrastinating and lack of enthusiasm. E ducation is a commodity. If you can prove the uni failed to supply what they promised then absolutely get your money back... Otherwise, imagine all the hookers and blow you could have had for £200k.
