Nottingham cricket legend Stuart Broad is reportedly "in talks" with Strictly Come Dancing bosses following his retirement. Strictly bosses are said to have their sights set on the popular 37-year-old as a potential competitor for the dance competition.
Stuart announced this summer's final Test at The Oval would be his last after an incredible career. He ended his career on a high note as he bowled England to victory in the final Ashes test but it looks like his time in the spotlight might not be over yet.The insider said that Stuart is the "perfect choice to fill the coveted 'sports star' slot considering he retired as the 'hero of the hour'.
Stuart made the decision to walk away from the sport aged 37 and will now be spending more time with his fiancée Mollie King, their daughter Anabella and working on his pub and restaurant business. When asked whether becoming a dad could have played a part in his decision to retire, he said: "Great question. It's a difficult one to answer, really, because there's quite a long break after this series so I was getting a lot of time off anyway.
