Strictly star makes raunchy suggestion about Giovanni Pernice who's 'quit' show

Ex Strictly Come Dancing champ James Jordan has cheekily suggested he might have been a bigger ladies' man than Giovanni Pernice if he had been single during his time on the hit BBC show.

Speaking about the infamous "Strictly curse", 46 year old James couldn't resist a playful tease. He suggested that perhaps his romantic escapades on Strictly could've rivalled those of fan favourite Giovanni, who's been romantically linked with former dance partners Georgia May Foote and Ashley Roberts.

He admitted: "You're very close, aren't you? Day one, you come in and you're literally rubbing up on each other, groin to groin."It's normal in our world but not for everyone else and you're so close to each other, dancing sexy, and there's nice music and you're training with each other for eight hours a day, so if there is a little bit of chemistry, something's going to happen.

James' remarks come amid reports that Gio has quit the dancing show. In recent months, the 33 year old has been plagued with allegations over his tough training methods from previous celebrity partners, including actress Amanda, 52.
