Strictly Star Johannes Radebe to Star in Glasgow Musical

Johannes Radebe , a dancing sensation who is a professional on the BBC dancing competition series, will feature in a special relaunch of Kinky Boots which visits the King's Theatre next year.

After inheriting his family's failing shoe factory and with his relationship on the rocks, life is proving to be very challenging for Charlie. The production is headed up by Made at Curve and ROYO, written by Harvey Fierstein and features a stellar score by Cyndi Lauper. Curve’s chief executive Chris Stafford and artistic director Nikolai Foster said: “We all know Johannes for his extraordinary artistry on the dance floor, but seeing him inhabit the astonishingof Lola in Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper’s proud, punchy and passionate Kinky Boots has been an electrifying and profoundly moving experience.
