Zara McDermott has pleaded for help from fans after being advised by her doctor that she needs surgery. The former Love Island star, who also appeared on last year's Strictly Come Dancing, shared the scary news with fans on Instagram.
She continued: "I'm researching online as much as I can about the surgery, but I really can't find much online about it especially in the tibia and also related to a stress fracture. Has anyone had this surgery before after suffering from a stress fracture? How long were you off your feet for? How bad was it? I have lots of questions!"
Zara shared she was about to have CT scan to check for "calcium deposits," which would indicate whether her fracture is healing. "But in short, I've been getting MRI scans and it's getting progressively worse despite me not doing any strenuous activities," she admitted.
