Marble Arch Mound is SHUT after two days amid storm of criticismThe £2million artificial hill on Park Lane was closed yesterday to everyone except those who had already paid for tickets - costing between £4.50 and £8. Why was this built there… ? Seriously, it looks so out of place, it also hides Marble Arch, crazy! If they had to build it, it should have gone into the park, that’s flat and could do with a mound, but there it is absolutely hideous. Whoever agreed this should be fired. What is it meant to celebrate or signify? Whoever approved it needs sacking, or better still, given a shovel and wheelbarrow and told to get rid of it. Why pay money when you can find a free hill near you and spend all day there nature is free
