Shrewsbury ‘did not do enough’ to get a result in their defeat to Charlton - according to boss Steve Cotterill.

Steve Cotterill the head coach / manager of Shrewsbury Town.

Town had their chances to take the lead, Chey Dunkley missed a header in the first half, but he was denied by a defender and Addick’s goalkeeper Joe Wollacott. In truth, there was little between the two sides in an entertaining encounter, but Cotterill believes he needed to see more from his team, despite them creating some good opportunities.“We had chances and probably should have been 2-0 up in the first half.“We have actually had better chances than they had today. “So ultimately, it is disappointing.“If we don’t take them, as I said before the rest of the game, you are on a knife edge.
