Everybody finds their own personal way of dealing with it during and after treatment. I couldn’t wait to tell everybody once I had my scan result and was clear of cancer. Nobody apart from my husband knew of me being ill until then. I completely identify with this. Thanks Joanna for writing this honest account. And, irrespective of how each person deals with the diagnosis and physical treatment, one thing's for sure, there's a psychological impact that's long lasting.
