The Labour leader was forced to abandon his plans to put his reforms to a vote on the ruling national executive after opposition from unions.

The Labour leader was forced to abandon his plans to put his reforms - which include scrapping 'one member, one vote' for electing the party leader and returning to an electoral college of MPs, unions and activists - to a vote on the ruling national executive after opposition from unions.

"Had the consultation taken place with the unions, with the CLPs, things might have been different," said Mr Lavery. "This delay has been won by the grassroots members who have taken action to organise their delegates, lobby their unions and mobilise ahead of conference. "I know our trade unions and members have developed these policies. But the signs are that the party leadership wants to try to shut down debate, side-line the members and trade unions with the end result that Labour props up rather than challenges our broken political and economic system."

"Working people don't want a handout from a minister sat in Whitehall - workers want the power to stand up for themselves and demand their fair share and a better deal."

Listen to her ( Angela Rayner) talking about decency ? . Look at yourself in the mirror, the foul and abusive language towards other people that comes out of your mouth is well beyond decency. Your supposed to be an MP ? or is it a 🤡🤡🤡

Did she ever have a proper job? ..

Don’t forget free internet, free university tuition and free unicorns for everyone 🙄

How about equal rights between parents and non-parents. Non-parents could do with 2 years paid holiday like parents with 2 kids get.

What about Youse.

There is far too much talk. The Tories need booted out. They are literally taking the U.K. back in time. What’s next ration books

I read the Times article, it reminded me of the XFactor contestants that go on about their sad story to get sympathy and the judges vote. Let’s hope she never leads Labour

You get holidays from day one ,if are Ill you can claim stat sick pay anyway

This is why Labour are unelectable- these policies sound good at a conference but are simply not compatible with the real world - just like Corbyn and his Marxist agenda pushed swing voters away these sound bites will not move swing voters back to a socialist party

How many people does she employ in her business? It seems very generous but good on her for leading the way. Her employees will be excited.

I don’t see him at all! Cellophane man!

Who's Keir Starmer? Lol

Less weak - More without any plan or ideas.

Weak and wobbly

No his not weak his 💩 💯

She’s weak and she’s also delusional.

So she's as much out of touch as he is then!

……Oh I do. The strong are sometimes wrong - but the weak are never free!

The polls suggest otherwise 🤣🤣 Rayner part of the problem not the solution

Just goes to show how out of touch she is...with totally clueless takes & shiny photo shoots in the Tory rags the transformation into Jess Phillips is almost complete. The establishment is beginning to accept her, it’s grim to watch.

She believes wrong! Labour is finished

Weak and meek…

Completely deluded

BJ nailed it with Captain Hindsight.

Then she’s deluded

She's totally deluded then.

I'd forgotten there was an opposition.....

So just making assumptions instead of actually asking the public? Great strategy for getting people to trust you...

I think we do!

Yes they do!

🤣 RIP Labour 🤣

Which u-turn is related to negative impact on our day to day lives right now? Which one is more humiliating? Maybe the one (of many) that relates to the current govt having caused destruction of our country, enabled by their proven lies?
