Star Wars Outlaws seemingly pushed back, as Ubisoft announces delay to “large game”

Star Wars Outlaws remains one of the most highly-anticipated installments in the sci-fi franchise’s growing video game catalog after its initial announcement in January 2021. However, those looking forward to experiencing the open-world intergalactic adventure may have to remain patient a little longer, as Ubisoft has seemingly delayed its launch following a statement in the company’s recent earnings call that mentioned a delay to a “large game.

” They would then mention that their decision to launch this “large game” in FY2024-2025 was made “to maximize its value creation,” likely in an effort to avoid most of the high-profile games that have been released recently, which include heavy hitters like Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2. Unfortunately, a specific release date is still yet to be provided by the game’s developers, though we expect it to be provided the closer we get to the stated launch window.
