It was heartbreaking – but sadly not surprising – to hear of the pure vitriol aimed at Obi-Wan Kenobi star Moses Ingram, who has been subjected to ‘hundreds’ of racist messages since the new series launched onBut it was more heartwarming to see her co-star Ewan McGregor show support by speaking out on her behalf, as well as the officialTwitter account publicly condemning the trolling.
Ewan also said in his video: ‘Moses is a brilliant actor, she’s a brilliant woman, and she’s absolutely amazing in this series. aliciaadejobi I have begun to think this outrage has been deliberately manufactured. why for instance, on instagram, is all direct criticism of the character from private accounts, when I've heard nothing but moderately positive things from it from real people.
