On her popular BBC One show, 'Sort Your Life Out', Stacey Solomon has shared a handy tip on how to remove stains with the assistance of a common 95p sauce from Lidl and Aldi. In the second episode of her series the TV icon headed to Wembley to help Bijal and Darshan declutter their overfilled home.
As the team worked through the house full of possessions, Iwan Carrington suggested using a straightforward and cheap solution for stubborn sticky tape marks. Pointing at the grimy frame, Carrington stated, "This has gone quite crunchy, so I think I want to break it back by softening it with something."
He pointed out: "This has got plenty of vinegar in it and it's the vinegar that will do the trick," reports Chronicle Live. They explain: "The fat from the egg yolks and oil penetrates into the finish and replaces the moisture from the water stain. Meanwhile, the mild acidity from the vinegar helps break down the stain."
