Spurs leapfrog Arsenal thanks to controversial VAR penalty with Burnley 'better side'

Tottenham backed up their win over Arsenal with a gritty 1-0 victory over Burnley on Sunday.

After not being given initially, replays showed that the ball flicked the outstretched arm of Ashley Barnes in the build-up to a Harry Kane’s shot going wide.Kane made no mistake with the spot-kick, firing into the bottom corner to put his side 1-0 up. The visitors had their opportunities, with their best chance coming when Barnes rattled the post with an effort from distance.
