Spider-Man: Sony 'disappointed' over Disney split

Sony says it's"disappointed" not to be working with Disney on future Spider-Man films.

We might not see actor Tom Holland in new Marvel movies, because a fresh deal can't be reached over the character. Film rights for the superhero are owned by Sony - and he was able to appear in movies like Avengers: Endgame because of a deal between Sony and Marvel Studios - owned by Disney.In a series of tweets, Sony referenced Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, thanking him for his"help and guidance".

Spiderman means a lot to young people and Tom Hollands performance has given young people that representation in the MCU and wider film industry. It's a sad day.

No one would miss Spider man in a Marvel ensemble. If homecoming was anything to go by I’ll probably not be going to the cinema to watch the next one.

this is very disappointing that things couldn't be worked out.. since Marvel Studio step in regarding Spider-man..on screen the film has done very well for itself.. It has to be a way to work things out.. But only time will tell..
