A spate of car break-ins in part of Glasgow's west end has left one resident baffled after her car was ransacked - but instead of stealing anything, the intruder left a snack behind.
The Gardner Street resident said: "My neighbour's car was broken into a few weeks ago and I've heard about similar incidents on Stewartville Street, which is just around the corner, so we knew that there was an issue in the area - but to be honest, my car isn't that expensive and I didn't think I would be a major target.
"I had been sitting in the passenger seat the day before and they definitely weren't there. It's just so strange that someone would get into my car, bring a snack with them and then leave it behind!"Despite her car being in disarray, nothing was taken. This did, however, leave the resident more confused.
