Britain and Spain are not discussing ‘travel corridors’ to open up after June 29

Spain isn't discussing separate travel corridors with Britain and is looking at an EU-wide approach, sources said todayThe so-called air bridges scheme will allow quarantine-free travel between two countries with low rates of infections if a bilateral agreement is made.

A source told Reuters that that Spain is discussing with other European Union countries whether and how to allow tourism from Britain and other states. This means they are hoping for an EU-wide deal rather than individual mini-agreements with separate countries. It comes after Britain's mandatory 14-day quarantine plans came into effect yesterday.
