Foreign Office extends Spain travel ban to Balearic and Canary Islands

holidays are no longer advised by the UK government. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has announced its restriction on non-essential travel has been extended to the Canary and Balearic Islands. The news will affect Britons with holiday plans to such popular islands as Majorca, Ibiza and Tenerife.The restriction previously only applied to mainland Spain.
