Guatemala's Santa María volcano: Planet is imaging the entire Earth daily with its Dove satellites
Some of the larger items on the Falcon rocket were suitcase-sized. Among these were several radar satellites. Radar has been one of the major beneficiaries of the revolution in componentry. Iceye from Finland, Capella and Umbra from the US, and iQPS of Japan all took the ride to orbit on Sunday. These start-ups are establishing constellations in the sky that will return rapid, repeat imagery of the Earth.
A number of satellite missions will want an orbit that's higher or lower in the sky, or on a different inclination to the equator.
I've shitted bigger turds than some of these miniature sats.
Soon they will have to be converting those Ford Transit open-back salvage collection trucks to go into orbit!
Increasing space junk at a record pace
We have to litter everywhere we go. we’ve littered the land with rubbish, littered the sea with plastics, not happy with that we have to litter space with junk metal.
More space junk to add to the crap he's already sent to orbit, including a car. Soon we will be suffering climate change due to the junk.
Much more and we will never leave this planet. Still we will have a protective shield against alien invasion.

here come the people shouting “spAcE JuNK!1!1!1” when they don’t realise that all satellites launched nowadays are designed to come back into the atmosphere after a set period of service and also don’t seem to realise how big the space around earth is, all the satellites are tiny
Those complaining about viewing the stars are not enthusiastic enough to head to a dark location with no light pollution to do some proper star gazing.
