The CDC said that the death rate of COVID-19 was 0.2%, and the CDC said that the majority of the Omicron virus were fully vaccinated. As for the new variant of Omicron. so far, there has not been a single death case. So, why do we continue to vaccinate?

'South Africa confirmed 22,400 new cases on Thursday and 19,000 on Friday'. Admittedly it's a few years since I've been in school, but that doesn't seem like doubling every 2-3 days to me.

I must admit, after hearing various reports about this variant, on a personal level, I'm not as worried about it as the previous one. I do still worry for all the kids + unvaccinated people though. (Not having a go at anyone btw. It's all about personal choice.)

There’s a real disconnect between what we are being told by the South African scientists and virologists who say as viruses mutate they become weaker and the panic and control imposed by our and other European governments. So what is the truth here?

Woman 'thrown like a rag doll' by hippo at South African petting farmNatasha Vrany, 39, from Alberton, claimed she and her cousin Belinda Newman, 62, were both attacked by a hippo while visiting Jessica's Place in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, on November 14. Sounds like the last time I used tinder! Unsurprising, excluding mosquitos, hippos are the most dangerous animal in Africa (by body count); they are incredibly aggressive, you'd might as well try & pet a tiger or polar bear. Lucky still alive.... Hippo looks calm but killer enemy around them 😑

South Korea cuts human interaction in push to build ‘untact’ societyThe government invests heavily to remove human contact from many aspects of life but fears of harmful social consequences persist Taking this big tech thing overboard Yikes. Can't imagine how this would fuel alienation, social detachment and isolation, which could only lead to increased cases of depression and suicide among others. I'm fine with human interaction and all its imperfections; it's called being human.
