A company is eyeing plans to redevelop a Watford site and create a “lifestyle hotel for creatives, entrepreneurs, and visitors”.

has written to households near 30-40 St Albans Road, where The Quarters is, to let them know about the proposals it is looking to bring forward for the site.

There is limited information available so far, but the team will be holding a community event between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on May 16, at Watford Central Library.The letter to residents said: “We are working with the Pump House theatre and the Palace theatre and looking to co-create a new cultural space across two floors which will include theatre and performance rehearsal space, a screening room, artists’ and podcase studios, and a wellness space.
